The 22nd annual Fulton Chain Rendezvous of the Antique and Classic Boat Society will be held on Saturday, July 14 in Old Forge. Boats will be on display at the Old Forge lakefront for public viewing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite boats in several categories including: historic, antique, classic, replica, outboard, land display and exhibitors’ choice. The viewing public may cast their votes for the people’s choice award.

Promptly at 2 p.m., the fleet will take off for a grand parade through the 1.5 mile channel that marks the beginning of the Fulton Chain of Lakes.

The event is hosted by the Adirondack Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society and co-sponsored by the Central Adirondack Asso-ciation, Brooker’s Hardware and Lumber, the Strand Theatre, Water’s Edge Inn, Rivett’s Marine, Adirondack Bank, Water Safari/Enchanted Forest, T.A. Down Construc-tion, Shelter, DiOrio’s Super-market, and Old Forge Camping Resort.

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association will provide a table at the show where aquatic plant samples can be dropped off. Samples should be placed in a ziplock bag with a note attached giving the day the plant was found, its location and the contributor’s name and phone number. FCLA directors will be present to answer questions and provide information.
