Tuesday, July 24, 2012 - Updated: 1:28 PM

What’s better than an ice cream sundae? An ice cream sundae with a handmade bowl. Come to point park in Old Forge between 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3 for an Ice Cream Social to benefit View’s pottery department.

Potters have been hard at work at View producing a plethora of beautiful and interesting, one of a kind ceramic ice cream bowls for the event. Select your bowl, ice cream, toppings and enjoy. Lactose free ice cream will also be available. Come early, this event sells out quickly. In the event of rain the event will be held next door in the fire hall.

Bowls range in price depending on size and complexity from $10 to $20. To learn more about the programming at View visit www.ViewArts.org†or call (315) 369-6411.
