The parents of Katie Elizabeth Noonan and Cody Parsons Wojdyla are proud to announce the engagement of their children. Katie is the daughter of Mary Noonan of Panama City Beach, Fla. and Tim and Sherri Noonan of Old Forge. Cody is the son of Michael and Glory Wojdyla of Inlet and Manhattan.

Katie is a graduate of the Town of Webb Schools. She received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication and in French, and a minor in Linguistics, from Syracuse University.  She is employed as Vice President and Director of Marketing for her family’s businesses: Enchanted Forest/Water Safari, Calypso’s Cove, Old Forge Camping Resort, and Water’s Edge Inn.

Cody is a graduate of Liverpool High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. where he also played hockey. He is employed as a Certified Financial Planner with AXA Advisors.

The couple resides in Old Forge and Saratoga Springs with their dog Marcy.  They are planning a September 2011 wedding in Old Forge.
