Mike DeLouisa

Michael A. DeLouisa age 58, of New Hartford passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, at St. Luke’s Hospital with his beloved family by his side.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 1, 1953 a son of the late Ralph and Yolanda Anzalone DeLouisa.
On Aug. 20, 1972 he was married to Donna Kelly in the Lady of Loretto Church in Hempstead, New York a blessed union of 39 years.
Michael was the owner and operator, along with his sons, in the operation of their family business, Mikeís Wallpapering and Painting Company of both New Hartford and Old Forge. A self made man, Mike had the honor of working for celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Lauren Bacall and Sigourney Weaver.
Mike also had a passion for music and was the originator and drummer of the “Fulton Chain Gang Band” of 15 years.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Old Forge and was a Volunteer Firefighter in Old Forge until he relocated to New Hartford.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife Donna, two cherished sons Michael DeLouisa Jr. and David DeLouisa; his cherished daughter Tara DeLouisa and her fiancee Mario Hanna; his beloved grandson Dane DeLouisa; his sister Maria and her husband Richard Varney; one brother Joseph DeLouisa of Long Island and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
The family would like to thank the sixth floor staff of St. Luke’s Hospital for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Dr.Razia and Julie Milograno and staff from Hospice.
