Police report

Town of Webb Police Department

The Town of Webb Police Department investigated a one car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Dec. 10 at approximately 10:20 a.m. Luigi Cibischino, age 20, of Saddle River, N.J. was operating a 2008 Ford pickup truck southbound on State Route 28, when he failed to negotiate a turn and travelled across the northbound lane striking a tree and utility pole. The pickup truck then overturned and came to rest on its roof. Cibischino and a passenger, Brian Halpin, age 20, of Saddle River, N.J., were both transported to a Utica hospital for treatment of minor injuries by the Old Forge Ambulance. Cibischino was ticketed for imprudent speed and failure to wear a seat belt. Halpin was also ticketed for failure to wear a seat belt. The Town of Webb Police were assisted on the scene by the Old Forge Fire Department and Morin’s Towing.
