Celebrating the flag

Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - Updated: 12:48 PM

On June 14, the second grade class of the Town of Webb school performed a tribute to our flag, explaining how it helped shape our country and our people. Members reenacted a fictional account of Betsy Ross and the process of creating the flag. Afterward the class led the pledge of allegiance and performed a round of “You’re a grand Old Flag.” All of the class received certificates for their hard work from veterans of our country. They did a splendid job reminding us all of the dedication and pride this country was built on. ABOVE RIGHT: The kindergarten class pledges their allegiance to the flag.
