Black River watershed conference to be held June 6

The Second Annual Black River Watershed Conference will be held on June 6th at the Carthage Elks Lodge, Carthage, NY. Registration will begin at 8:45 am with speakers starting at 9:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm. Speakers will cover a range of topics including climate change, recreation, invasive species, wildlife, soils mapping and current and ongoing Black River Watershed projects. The $15 fee for the conference will cover lunch and refreshments.

This event is being organized and presented by the Tug Hill Commission and the Lewis County Soil and Water Conservation District and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Region 6.
