Born on Mother’s Day,

I was a gift.

Your first child of five.

You gave us

so much for so long.

More than a life

of love and faith

More than one song.

It’s been thirty years now

Since you left us

For your heavenly reward.

Thanks Mom

For a life given

In service to the Lord.
