ASE thanks all who helped make Forgefest happen

ForgeFest 2012 has come and gone. Held last Saturday, Aug. 11 the event was a success.

Four major bands with national followings, vendors, sponsors, fireworks and a lot of coordination, cooperation and commitment from a multitude of service providers is required to successfully stage such a large event.

Adirondack Special Events (ASE) would like to acknowledge the following groups and organizations without whose support we couldn’t have put on the event.

Our thanks and appreciation are extended to the Town of Webb Board and Supervisor, the Highway Department as well as the DPW and the Parks Department, Information Center Staff, the Barnstormers Snowmobile Club members who worked the event, the Adirondack Express and the Hamilton County Express, the marketing firm Blue Line By Design and the radio station 92.7 The Drive, and, of course, all those who attended the concert. We couldn’t have done it without you.

ASE is an events planning business whose primary goal is to bring people to the Central Adirondack region by staging and promoting events year-round.  We look forward to organizing more event in the future and working with our partners.

Cordially,

Jim Connerty,

Jane Slack, Dennis Michael and Donna Pohl

Judy Hitchcock’s family thankful

On behalf of my family I would like to thank all of the wonderful people of this community for their support and contributions to us during our mother’s short illness and at her celebration of life.

Judy Hitchcock was such an amazing woman and we are all grateful that so many of you were able to attend the celebration and share with us stories and memories of her. There was nothing easy about the whole situation, but with all of the support we had from our mother’s friends, and closest friends that we now call family, it would have been that much harder to bear.

A special thanks to Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services and their amazing members for being there on a moment’s notice when we needed them. All of you will forever be in our hearts.

With sincere gratitude,

Dianna Ste-Marie
