Cards of thanks - 10/25/2011

A most sincere thank you

Dear Editor:

I am writing to you as a means of expressing a most sincere thank you to the entire Old Forge and Town of Webb Union Free School District community. Our boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer teams were thrilled to be invited to participate in the annual Columbus Day Holiday Soccer Tournament.

I wish to thank everyone with whom we met for fantastic hospitality, plus the friendly and respectful reception that our students and spectators received. It made an educational and athletic venture most enjoyable and meaningful. As a result, new friends have been made and our respect for your community has been enhanced.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Clark, Mr. Leach, Mr. Germer and other staff members of the school for their professional and diligent efforts. Congratulations as well to the Old Forge Varsity Club and their members and volunteers. Our students and staff truly felt at home during the entire tournament. Please know that you will be equally welcomed in our community should you visit.

Thanks again and we’ll see you on your wonderful trail system when the snow flies.

Sincerely,

Raymond Ciccarelli, Jr.

Liddles appreciate ambulance help

Our sincere thanks to the Old Forge Ambulance crew (Zach, Dave and Chuck), for their support during Bob’s recent trip to St. Elizabeth’s.

Luckily, we haven’t needed an ambulance in the past. They were here in a few short minutes and wasted no time getting under way. W e are very fortunate to have this service.

Joan and Bob Liddle
