Card of thanks

Tuesday, October 30, 2012 - Updated: 8:08 AM

Thank you from the Old Forge Ballet

The Old Forge Ballet Company Board of Directors, Sue Ann Lorenz-Wallace, Linda LaDue, Whitney Denesha, Curtis Stedge, Roberta Bennett, and Marsha Pawlings Villiere would like to express thanks to the community and visitors to our area for a successful Craft Show on Sept. 29, to benefit the Ballet Company and the Town of Webb Historical Association.

The Falling Leaves Craft Show organizers Marcia Pawlings Villiere and Pat Wuest, did an outstanding job of organizing over twenty crafters for this year’s fair. Visitors had a wonderful selection to choose from beautifully hand crafted items.

Many thanks to students, parents and friends of The School of The Old Forge Ballet Company who baked up a wonderful selection for the cookie walk and the food concession. They sold fast and delighted the visitors.

Special thanks to the Town for use of  the Park Avenue Building, Donut Shop in Eagle Bay, Weekly Adirondack and Adirondack Express Newspapers, Karen Beck, Sarah Beck, Renee Smith, Dawn Croniser, Heidi Hitchcock, Mary Jane Lasher, George Villiere, also to Doug Masters, Patrick Russell and Karen Russell of The Naked Moose for use of their Popcorn Machine.

See you all next year. Check out the “Nutcracker” ballet on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 or 7 p.m. at the Strand Theatre in Old Forge. Tickets go on sale soon.

For more information about the School of The Old Forge Ballet Company and the Company call Sue Ann Lorenz-Wallace at (315) 369-8721 or e-mail: oldforgeballet@roadrunner.com.
