A big thank you from breakfast organizers

The officers and members of Dewey Old Forge Chapter #449 and North Wood Lodge #849, wish to express their thanks to everyone who attended this years Columbus Day breakfast buffet at the North Woods Community Center.

We had another very successful event, thanks to all of our very capable volunteers, in every capacity. Many of our food suppliers were more than generous. We extend our special thanks to Lesa Parent, for being there when we needed her.

We look forward to seeing all of you again next year.

Eagle Bay Fire Department says thank you

On behalf of the Eagle Bay Volunteer Hose Company  I want to thank Billy and the entire staff at Billy’s Restaurant for the successful Charity Benefit they recently held for the Eagle Bay Fire Department on Thursday, Oct. 20.

Billy’s Restaurant donated 20 percent of all sales for that evening to our fire department. The support from the community was really appreciated and all who attended agreed that they enjoyed a great meal and at the same time helped out the Eagle Bay Fire Department.

We thank Billy’s Restaurant and the Webb Community for their great support.
