There will be a benefit for Jeff Haynes at the Seventh Lake house from 3-6 p.m. on May 15. There will be a $10 donation at the door to benefit Haynes, a well known bartender for the Seventh Lake House. He will be receiving intensive treatments for bladder cancer and is expected to miss work. A GoFundMe page was set up for Haynes and as of Sunday, May 8, the amount raised exceeded the goal set by Jim Holt, owner of the Seventh Lake House and creator of the page.
People who have made donations of $20 or more to the Go Fund Me site will get a treat from Seventh Lake House at the benefits. Just tell the servers that you are one of Jeff’s angels.
Many restaurants and local businesses have provided food for the benefit and items to be raffled off in a Chinese auction. There will be a cash bar and beer on tap as well and Jon Liebing and Paul Case will provide the music for the evening.
Tickets will be available for purchase for a kayak that has been donated by Penny Stuart that will be raffled off Labor Day Weekend.
Come show your support for Haynes and stop in to the Seventh Lake house on Sunday, May 15. If you are unable to go to the benefit but would still like to contribute, visit www.gofundme.com/h6zyqbks to make a monetary donation.
