Inlet Community Church will be offering a free shuttle from Old Forge to the church each Sunday morning throughout the summer for their 10:15 a.m. Sunday service beginning June 14. As people flock to the Adirondacks in the summer for rest and relaxation, the church hopes to encourage many to deepen that respite by including refreshment for their souls.
Pick up stops will be at Lakeside Terrace at 9:35 a.m., Point Park at 9:40 a.m., and the Old Forge Camping Resort at 9:45 a.m.
The service is approximately one hour and the bus will load for the return trip ten minutes after the close of the service. Typically guests would be back by noon. There is no cost for the shuttle and reservations or tickets are not necessary. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Inlet Community Church is an evangelical protestant church that offers contemporary worship, relevant preaching, and friendly community. The church is open year round and the shuttle will run throughout the summer. The church is located in the village of Inlet at 12 South Shore Rd, just up the hill from where South Shore Road runs into Rt. 28 in the center of town.
