Thank you to everyone who consoled us through the loss of our father, Art Germer.
The phone calls, food, cards, flowers, well wishes, donations, and visits from all of you have made us realize just how much Art touched the lives of people in this community. It has also reminded us just how special being a part of this town is.
The stories that we were told for the first time, about our father, during this time have helped us greatly in our time of grief, especially the story of Dad’s gift to a little boy named Arthur.
It quickly became apparent to us that not only will our Dad be greatly missed by his family, but also by those many lives that he has touched with his warm, kind, caring and sensitive heart. We would also like to thank those for the support during Dad’s illness and stay in the hospital. The cards and letters that he received in the hospital, while too many to count, were each read to him, and we know that he appreciated and enjoyed each and every one of them, as did we.
Thank you.

Thank you friends of Mary Greene
We would like to thank everyone who remembered us on Mom’s passing. It was clear to see she touched many people’s lives.
Her strong work ethic and sense of community was evident to the end. We hope people continue to remember her legacy and strive to make this community the best it can be. The cards, donations and kind words were appreciated by us all.
Mom was a strong advocate for what she believed, we will all miss that and hope we can continue to touch a fraction of the lives she did.
Thank you again,

On Jan. 11 the Town of Webb Union Free School and Herkimer County Prevention Council hosted a Parental Drug and Alcohol Awareness Night at View.
Approximately 25 parents and community members attended. Trooper Olney from the New York State Police presented current local trends on drug and alcohol use, and recognizing signs of adolescent drug and alcohol use. Michael Nerney, a consultant on drug and alcohol abuse presented drugs and the adolescent brain and how to talk to your child about drugs and alcohol.
Thank you to The Town of Webb Fund and the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties for providing the funding for the program. Also, thank you to View for the venue and Trooper Olney and the New York State Police.

On Thursday, Jan. 19, Billy Burns held another one of his charity dinners, this time to benefit View.
Lobster ravioli, clams, shrimp, pasta, veal, chicken, lemons, garlic, basil, wine—the smells and tastes were amazing! Thank you Billy and thank your staff for your generosity to View and other non-profits in our community.
We love coming together for good food and good company in the middle of the winter, and we appreciate your generosity.
Thank you,
Jody Pritchard, the View Staff, Board, and Members
