Sweetheart dessert contest

The library will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with the annual Sweetheart Dessert Contest on Tuesday, Feb. 14. There are four categories: youth student, teen student, adult and master. To enter the contest, create your favorite dessert and bring it to the library from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 14. Judges this year are Beverly Burnap, David Aliasso and Lisa Parent. A reception will be held at 7 p.m. and the contest winners will be announced at 7:40 p.m. Prizes are provided by the Friends of the Library. The community is invited to stop in to sample the delicious entries from 7 to 8 p.m. Bring your sweetheart and join the fun. Entry forms are now available at the library.
