Top students honored

At its regular April Dinner Meeting, The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks recognized Ashley Heroux as Student of the Month for March and Trey Socash as Student of the Month of April 2008. Ray Schoeberlein, student of the month chairman, introduced the two Town of Webb seniors and presented each with an award certificate and $50. Ashley is the daughter of Dale and Diane Heroux, and Trey is the son of Tom and Pam Socash. The selection criteria for the Kiwanis Student of the Month are community service, academics, athletic involvement, student need and extra curricular activities. Schoeberlein thanked the school administration, especially Michael Cunningham, dean of students, for their cooperation and efforts to make the Student of the Month program a success.
