Walter C. Schmid, 81, of Inlet died Jan. 17, at the Heritage Healthcare Center.
He was born February 27, 1930 in Spaichengen, Germany and immigrated to the United States in November of 1958 to follow the love of his life to Inlet where he married Anna Hagen on February 28, 1959.
